The Atoll 11′ inflatable paddle board has been updated and improved over the company’s first version, with this newest model featuring lighter construction and a new design. Over the past few years, Atoll has become a well-known SUP company known for its popular inflatable SUP model, travel paddles, and paddle board accessories, with “paddle boards built to last” being the company’s mission statement.
The core concept behind the Atoll 11′ iSUP was to design a “battle tested” and “ready to use” inflatable paddle board for both beginners and hardcore paddling enthusiasts.
In this Atoll 11′ SUP review, we’ll take a closer at this best-selling model and take a detailed look at the board’s features, specifications, and more.
Atoll 11′ SUP Review: Overview
Durability, performance, and build quality are all important when it comes to inflatable SUPs. If you’re looking for a paddle board that doesn’t cut corners when it comes to paddling performance and durable, lightweight construction, then the Atoll 11′ inflatable SUP is a board to consider.
Measuring 11′ x 32” x 6” and weighing 40% less than comparable models, this tough iSUP has been built out of machine laminated dual-layer PVC — an incredibly strong and lightweight material. Atoll’s 11′ paddle board offers good rigidity and holds up well to abuse and harsh conditions.
The Atoll 11′ is designed with stability in mind, and this is a board that is really fun to paddle solo, with small children, and even your dog. Currently, the company offers it in three attractive color options: Red, green, and light blue.
As stated above, one of the main selling points for this model is its hardened materials made out of machine laminated dual-layer PVC — one of the best choices if you’re trying to build an incredibly rigid yet light board.
Weight has also been a main point that Atoll has worked hard to address, as this latest version of their board is one of the lightest on the market, weighing in at only 19 pounds.
All of the hardware on the board is nice, and Atoll includes a universal US fin box for added versatility and convenience.
The top of Atoll’s 11′ board has a simple but comfortable EVA foam traction pad for you to stand on, blending the company’s logo and diamond pattern texture nicely into the overall design. There’s also a neoprene covered carry handle located at the middle of the board.
There are convenient storage options at the nose of the board. The board includes a bungee cord storage area and 6 D-rings for you to tie down anything you might need.
Moving to the tail, you’ll find another neoprene grab handle that makes it really simple for you to take this board in and out of the water.
On the bottom, you’ll find the board’s detachable center fin as well as two 2 smaller, permanently fixed fins for improved tracking capabilities.
