2018 Red Paddle 15′ Voyager Tandem: Board Overview
Measuring 15’0″ x 34″ x 8″, the 2018 Red Paddle Co 15′ Voyager Tandem board is super stable and packs a serious amount of buoyancy. Capable of supporting up to 3 riders plus gear, this super stiff 723 L board glides well in the water and is incredibly fun for long distance paddling, camping, and multi-day paddling excursions.
Construction
Like the Red Paddle 12’6″ Voyager and 13’2″ Voyager+ models, the 15’0″ Voyager Tandem is built using the company’s MSL Fusion construction technology. Built in Red Paddle’s private, in-house production facilities, the 15’0″ Voyager Tandem features a cutting edge construction process that eliminates unnecessary materials, human errors, and reduces overall weight. Built with precise machinery, the end result is a board that is lighter in weight, stronger, stiffer, and better looking cosmetically.
Red Paddle’s proprietary Tec Air construction process is managed entirely in-house — a stark contrast to other board companies who outsource production to overseas factories. This allows Red Paddle Co to produce some of the highest-quality inflatable SUPs on the market today, and their worldwide popularity and reputation for top-shelf durability are a testimony that they know what it takes to make a great inflatable paddle board.
