If you’re looking to do some fishing, SUP fitness, or leisurely cruising around the lake, the 10’4″ Tower Adventurer 2 can handle it. A versatile and affordable inflatable SUP that was designed to perform similarly to a hard board, this board is a stable platform that is great for beginners and advanced paddlers alike.
In this Tower Adventurer 2 review, we’ll take a closer look at the visual design of the board, its specifications, features, construction, the warranty you get from Tower Paddle Boards, and where to buy it.
Tower 10’4″ Adventurer: Board Overview
The Tower Adventurer 2 measures 10’4″ x 32″ x 6″ with a weight of 25 pounds. This model’s total carrying capacity of 350 pounds makes it a great choice for bringing along kids, a dog, or even another adult on your adventure. Because of its improved carrying capacity, bigger and heavier paddlers don’t have to worry about stability issues because this board delivers excellent balance while standing or kneeling. It’s also fairly lightweight to carry, which is convenient.
The visual appearance of this particular model has a clean black and white design that gives it a simple but elegant feel while displaying the brand’s logo creatively along the deck. The market currently has an overabundance of boards with bright colorways, which makes the understated white and gray color scheme of this board appealing. For those who want a bit more color, the Adventurer 2 also comes in blue, turquoise, and a nice looking Chris Craft special edition version.
Construction
Advertised as “indestructible” by Tower Paddle Boards, this board is made out of military-grade PVC material along with durable drop-stitch technology. This manufacturing process gives the board an amazing feeling of stiffness that feels like a rigid board while maintaining a relatively light weight overall.
Features
The top of the board features a soft, non-slip deck pad that is designed to provide excellent grip. There’s also a carrying handle that makes it easy to carry around.
Unlike the no-frills 12’6″ Tower iRace, 9’10” Tower Adventurer 1,and Xplorer 14′ models, the nose of the board features a standard 4-point elastic bungee storage system which is always convenient for storing your things while you’re on the water. Also, this board features a vertical carry handle that makes it easy for the user to take the board in or out of the water.
The tail of this iSUP features a Halkey Roberts valve. This board can be inflated manually with the included high-pressure pump or automatically with a compatible electric pump. There’s also a D-ring for attaching the included safety leash, as well as a second grab handle.
On the underside of the board, you’ll find a 2+1 fin setup with two small fixed side fins and a large removable center fin.

What’s Included
Tower includes the following accessories with the Adventurer 2 iSUP:
- Manual high-pressure pump
- Large removable center fin
- 3-piece fiberglass paddle
There are a few things that are lacking in Tower’s iSUP bundles — namely a safety leash and SUP backpack. Several years ago this was acceptable, but competition has gotten stiff and there are much better board packages being offered nowadays than Tower’s current lineup. At this price point, we’d recommend the iROCKER ALL-AROUND 10′ or 10’6″ iROCKER CRUISER models which come with a much better SUP accessory bundle.
Warranty
One of the more important aspects to consider when you’re shopping around for an inflatable SUP is the warranty coverage. Tower currently offers a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty on their inflatable paddle boards which covers any production defects and everything outside of the normal wear and tear.
Where to Buy it
You can buy the 10’4″ Tower Adventurer 2 from Amazon. In addition their fast, free shipping, Amazon also offers low prices and outstanding customer service.
Final Thoughts
We really like the fact that the Tower Adventurer 2 appeals to a wide range of paddlers. This versatile board can be used for a variety of paddling activities and it’s stable enough to be used by first-timers.
However, despite the fact that this board is stable, fun, and versatile enough to be enjoyed in a variety of conditions, we don’t recommend it at this time as there are other all-around inflatable paddle boards that currently offer much better value such as iROCKER SUPs.
